Registered Nurse- Cardiac Step-Down Night Shift New

Location: MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick

Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00

Shift: 11p-7a/ 7p-7a ; Rotating Weekends & Holidays

Primary Patient Population

• Congestive Heart Failure
• Arrhythmias
• Post Procedural Care (Catheterization/Ablation/ICD/PPM)

• EKG interpretation
• IV Medication titration
• Critical thinking, delegating, time management
  
  

Personnel RN Will Work With

• Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Telemetry Technicians, PT, OT

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE: Maintaining ODH Registry status as an STNA is optional after employment in this position).
• 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
